WICONA and Partners open a multi-functional showroom in Frankfurt

"NEXT - Facade and Design Studio by WICONA + Partners" is the name of this unique industry project which was launched on July 1, 2017. Architects, investors, facade planners and metal construction entrepreneurs at home and abroad can experience outstanding innovations in technology, functionality and design in one central location. Together, the participating partners cover a broad spectrum from building envelope to facade technology and related product areas.

WICONA Managing Director Henri Gomez: "NEXT is the reflection of those intelligent and complementary components, from which modern and technically sophisticated window and facade solutions are planned and constructed. In cooperation with our partners, we want to bring together international investors, architects and metal construction companies in order to present new concepts, initiate specialist dialogues and generate future-oriented trends for our industry."

In addition to WICONA, eight other partners are presenting innovative products and systems on over 750 m² of presentation area - from smart solution exhibits to 1: 1 mock-ups and virtual reality formats. The NEXT partners and their highlights:

OnlyGlass stages digital glass facades and brings life to buildings through the combination of media and architecture – mediatecture at its best

With the intelligent parcel box and the roof window, Stebler offers innovative products manufactured in the Swiss manufactory

The attractiveness of Frankfurt as a location for NEXT was an evidence from the initiators point-of-view. Oliver Haberkorn: "The Main metropolis is a melting pot of creativity and capital with a high density of well-known and internationally successful architects as well as globally active investors." With its central location and convenient access to the airport, NEXT is also easily accessible to international visitors.

The showroom is also to be used as a technology and communication platform. The partners are planning architecture events and specialist trainings, workshops for architecture/design students as well as training courses for their own staff.
